Yesterday I donated blood as part of the company blood drive. I ended up getting weak and lightheaded in the afternoon, and had horrible hot and cold flashes. I had to leave work early and cancel a pet-sitting job. I felt better after drinking some water and eating something. I'm kind of bummed because I like donating blood - makes me feel like I'm making a difference. But I don't want to go through those "side effects" again...[ Back to top ]
